The Model Portfolio Mid Cap Flyers was updated this weekend. New Adds of 12 stocks were made and Removals of 12 stocks were made. All prices are as of 05/03/2024. A total of 20 stocks are in the Portfolio now.
The Mid Cap Flyers Model Portfolio is now up 23% for 2023-2024 and is ahead of its benchmark MDY. Active outperformer PTVE is up +27% since it was added on 11/3/23. Highflier GPS was Removed from the Portfolio. It was up 53% since it was added on 11/3/23.
BackTest – The Backtest for this Portfolio outperformed the MDY benchmark in 15 out of the 19 years tested. It underperformed in years 2014 and 2019. It was largely even with the benchmark in 2008 and 2015. When the Portfolio outperformed, it was usually by a significant margin. The best year was 2005 when it was up by 46%.
