The S&P 500 index rallied back above its all-time high this week. Easing investor concerns created by the recent emotional sell off in stocks over the last month. Hopefully, no one succumbed to panic selling during this time. The Quant Portfolios continue to hold their own. The CNN Fear and Greed index has now climbed back to a 40 level. Still in the Fear category but close to getting back to neutral.

The Quant system is continuing to rank Gold stocks very high. The Weekly and Quant 30 portfolios have quite a few Gold stocks already and I am not a believer in overweighting one particular industry. This adds too much risk to the Portfolio if things turn south for the stocks in the overweighted industry.
